Y is a fresh fragrance that gets progressively less fresh as you climb the range, which makes this ladder unusually easy to get wrong. Each step is warmer and sweeter than the one below it.
The short answer
The Eau de Toilette is the crispest - apple, sage and a clean woody finish, and the most office-safe. The Eau de Parfum keeps that opening but lands somewhere sweeter and more amber. Le Parfum is the darkest and most resinous, and the furthest from what most people picture when they say Y.

The thing people get wrong
If you like Y because it smells clean, stop at the EDT or the EDP. Le Parfum is a good fragrance that is barely the same idea.
