Not officially. Armaf presents Club de Nuit Intense Man, usually shortened to CDNIM, as its own woody fragrance and does not mention Creed. The comparison comes from wearers and reviewers, and it has followed the perfume since its 2015 launch, from Basenotes threads to retailer blogs.
The overlap is real. When Creed launched Aventus, it listed blackcurrant, Italian bergamot, apple and pineapple on top; rose, birch, Moroccan jasmine and patchouli in the heart; and musk, oakmoss, ambergris and vanilla in the base. Line them up and nearly every note is shared. The differences on paper are small but noticeable: CDNIM adds lemon and does not list oakmoss.
On skin, reviewers commonly describe CDNIM as smoky lemon with pineapple behind it, and Aventus as smoky pineapple with more polish. So the honest answer is that CDNIM is widely compared to Aventus and often described as inspired by it, but it has its own lemon-led personality.

Armaf is a UAE house under Sterling Perfumes. CDNIM launched in 2015 as an eau de toilette, and Armaf now also sells an eau de parfum version. Fragrantica records several parfum editions since then, including limited-edition parfums and, in 2025, an extrait.
Armaf files it under woody fragrances and suggests it for evenings, formal events and the cooler months. That advice matters in the UAE, and we come back to it below.

Inspired by Gissah's Imperial Valley, Royal opens with davana, Italian bergamot and pink pepper, like warm fruit beside fresh citrus peel.
