On paper this is as close a follow as a note list can be, which is unusual; most dupes of this scent add vanilla or a fruit to make the sweetness obvious. Scarlet does not.
The honest consequence: the resemblance depends on how well the amberwood accord is built, because that accord is the whole character of the scent, and a note list cannot tell you that. What the list can tell you is where Scarlet will not go: it will not be a vanilla gourmand, and it will not be the Extrait.
Which brings up the version question. Baccarat Rouge 540 exists as the Eau de Parfum (2015) and the Extrait de Parfum (2017). The Extrait is denser and adds a bitter-almond facet; it reads darker and lasts differently. Scarlet's list has no almond and follows the Eau de Parfum. If the bottle you fell for was the black-labelled Extrait, expect Scarlet to be lighter and brighter than your memory.

Amberwood-type bases are heat-tolerant in a specific way: they do not turn syrupy like vanilla does, but they amplify. What is a soft glow in a cool room becomes a cloud in a car at noon. Saffron and jasmine, the top and heart, are quicker to fade in heat, so the summer experience of this style is mostly the base, sooner.
In air conditioning it behaves as designed: close, radiant, with the occasional gust when you move. This is a fragrance for the cool half of the day. Apply lightly in the morning and it will still be doing its job at the majlis in the evening.
